Bio

Dr. Orton grew up in Portsmouth, Virginia. For his undergraduate education, he attended Morehouse College, in Atlanta, GA where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BS in Biology. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He then completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Orton achieved additional laparoscopy and urologic robotic surgery training in a one year fellowship at City of Hope National Medical Center.

His clinical interests include urologic robotic surgery treating oncological and benign disease. He also has clinical interest in BPH and stone disease.

In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family, traveling, and listening to music.
