A Minimally Invasive Option for Enlarged Prostate

At Virginia Urology, our focus has always been on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care using the most advanced treatment options available. Through our collaboration with IR Centers, we are pleased to now offer Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) as part of our approach to treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). This partnership brings together urologic expertise and specialized interventional radiology care, allowing us to offer eligible patients a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgical treatments. By expanding access to PAE, we can better tailor treatment plans, enhance care coordination, and provide additional options designed to improve symptoms, recovery time, and overall quality of life.
