No. prequalifying uses a soft credit check, which has no effect on your credit score. A full application, if you choose to proceed, does involve a standard credit check.
No. CareCredit is a credit card issued by Synchrony Bank. Virginia Urology accepts it as a payment option, but your application, approval, and account are handled entirely by CareCredit, separate from your medical record or care at VU.
If your promotional balance isn’t paid in full by the end of the promotional period, interest is charged retroactively from the original purchase date. Review your specific terms carefully during the application process.
Yes. Once approved, your card can be used again at Virginia Urology and at any other provider in the CareCredit network, including dental, vision, and veterinary care.
Promotional financing generally applies to balances of $200 or more. Smaller balances can still be paid with the card, just without a promotional period attached.
