Virginia Urology’s Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), The Urosurgical Center of Richmond, is a dedicated facility designed to provide urologic surgical procedures that do not require an overnight hospital stay. Our ASC is equipped with advanced medical technologies and staffed by experienced healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff.

Some of the procedures Virginia Urology physicians perform regularly in the ASC are vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy.

The Urosurgical Center of Richmond is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). The AAAHC certificate of accreditation is a sign that an organization has committed to providing high-quality care and that it has demonstrated its commitment by measuring up to the AAAHC’s high standards.
