Candice Parkins is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner joining Virginia Urology with over 10 years of experience as a women’s health provider. Candice’s background has included high-risk obstetrics, management of abnormal gynecologic disorders, and sexual health care and management.
Originally from Kansas, Candice received her Bachelor of Nursing from Newman University. Her graduate degree in nursing with a concentration in women’s health was awarded from the University of Cincinnati. During undergraduate and graduate school, Candice was a member of the nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau. Working across the spectrum of age and diagnoses has provided invaluable experience and Candice is excited to share her passion for affirming, inclusive gynecologic care with the patients of Virginia Urology.
Candice is an active member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and serves on the administrative board. She loves to connect with her community through service and exploration of all Richmond, Virginia has to offer. On her off days you can find her cheering on the sidelines of her children’s football and soccer games, partaking in the expansive food culture of RVA, or crafting with friends.
