Bio
Dr. Krc (pronounced Kirch) is excited to be in Virginia to provide oncologic care to her patients. Her goal as a physician is to offer the highest standard of care, while taking a holistic approach to address each patient’s individual goals and quality of life. She enjoys educating patients about their diagnosis and treatment options and formulating an individualized treatment plan together.
Dr. Krc was born in Canada and raised in St. Louis, MO, and thereafter earned a BS in Biology and Chemistry at Ouachita Baptist University. She received her medical degree from A.T. Still University in Missouri and completed residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She also completed an American Brachytherapy Fellowship as a part of their 300 in 10 program to expand her education and brachytherapy skills. During her medical training she participated in many research endeavors, including national clinical enrollment and several publications on many different disease sites.
Dr. Krc’s clinical interests include all aspects of modern, adult Radiation Oncology. This includes stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) as well as brachytherapy. In addition to prostate, gastrointestinal, and head and neck cancers, she has a particular interest in women’s health, with focus on breast and gynecologic malignancies.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, as well as traveling. A former college athlete (swimmer), her hobbies include triathlons as well as kayaking/boating.
Dr. Krc will be seeing patients in the Bon Secours St. Francis & Reynolds Crossing Cancer Institute office locations.
