Dr. Rento grew up in Northern New Jersey and attended Brown University. Following his undergraduate education, he attended the Brown Dartmouth program in Medicine and was awarded his MD in Providence, RI in 1986. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Rento is board certified in urology by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association and the American College of Surgeons. His clinical interests encompass many areas of urology including robotic assisted removal of tumors of the prostate and kidney as well as benign diseases of the prostate, kidney stone disease and voiding dysfunction.
Dr. Rento sees patients at our Hanover, Reynolds Crossing and Stony Point office locations.
